Drain the tofu and press it to release some of the water. This works best when you freeze the tofu and then let it thaw out, but you can also let it sit out for a while to naturally release some of the water.
Cut the tofu into 1/2 inch cubes.
To make the teriyaki sauce/marinade, whisk all of the ingredients (excepts the oils) together.
In a bowl, add the tofu cubes and pour the marinade into it and allow it to marinate for 10 min.
Heat a large skillet and coat with the oils. Add the tofu to pan fry it until it gets crispy.
Serve with steamed rice and veggies! You can also garnish with sesame seeds, if desired.
