1. Smaller Christmas Tree

This year, opt for a smaller Christmas tree to keep it minimal. Not only are these super cute and cozy, but they take up way less storage space!

This one from Amazon is pre-lit and you can easily store it for the years to come.

If you want to take it a step further, skip the ornaments and keep it minimal and neutral. Personally, I have been loving this look this year.

You can do a wicker tree skirt or something natural to keep to neutral and minimal!

2. Simple Wreaths

Instead of colorful, flashy wreaths, opt for more neutral and green wreaths. These will make your home look clean and natural. It will give you the minimalist look you are looking for.

You can get a real one or buy an artificial pre-lit one such as this one from amazon.

I feel like wreaths are just so classic and pretty much go with everything! You can also get creative if you decide to DIY some yourself.

3. Garlands

Like wreaths, garlands can look so classic and neutral as Christmas decorations in your home.

You can place them across dinner table, across your fireplace mantle, or around doors.

If you’re on a budget or don’t want to spend too much money, you can also make your own garland! There are so many beautiful ideas all over Pinterest, such as this dried orange garland.

4. Pillow Cases

Before you go out and buy all NEW throw pillows for your holiday season décor, consider just swapping your pillow cases instead.

Buying pillow cases instead of Christmas throw pillows saves you space and money. Simply swap the pillow cases and you can remove them once Christmas is over. They are much easier to store than actual pillows! They also make for easy washing since all you have to do is remove them.

5. Pinecones

One of my favorite ways to decorate during Christmas is with pinecones. It’s so neutral, natural, and free! You can easily find pinecones outside (depending on where you live) in your backyard or at a park!

They look so beautiful and it’s always nice bringing nature inside. If you can’t easily access pinecones outside, you can always purchase some for a pretty low price.

All these are easy and simple minimalist Christmas decorations. Personally, I love all the neutral colors and simplicity! I feel like it keeps things minimal yet cozy! How will you be decorating your home this year?
