A Look at My Simple Minimalist Capsule Wardrobe

Hi friends! It’s no secret that I love sharing all about simple, minimalist style on this blog. Here is a closer look at my simple minimalist capsule wardrobe.

Capsule Wardrobe

I get commissions for purchases made through links in this post. Learn more here.

Recently, I have been decluttering pieces of clothing that I no longer reach for. I actually ended up getting rid of about 90% of my clothes (didn’t have much to begin with). Simultaneously, I have been working on building a new capsule wardrobe. With Spring on the horizon, I have been adding transitional, neutral pieces to this capsule wardrobe.

Most of my wardrobe is thrifted/purchased secondhand with the exception of a few pieces. Lately, I have been very drawn to neutrals, lighter washed denim, wide leg jeans, and overalls. As Spring gets closer, I will probably add a few pops of muted colors. As for now, this capsule wardrobe is very neutral and I’m OBSESSED! Although most of the pieces have been thrifted, I will still link similar pieces that have the same look/style in case you are interested!

As you can tell, I’m very much drawn to creamy neutrals and lighter denim! I’m so happy with how my curated capsule wardrobe has come together. Having a capsule wardrobe makes getting ready every morning SO easy. It’s easy picking an outfit you love when you love everything in your closet!

As of right now, there are 16 pieces of clothing in my capsule wardrobe. If I include shoes and accessories, it’s 21 pieces (3 pairs of shoes, 1 handbag, and one hat). Numbers don’t really matter to me as much as simply being intentional and happy with everything in my closet.

Some things I would actually like to add to my closet are:

  • A couple of neutral basics (I currently only have 2).
  • Another hat (I wear mine so often & I’ve really been thinking of getting another, lighter color!).
  • Ivory/Cream Wide Leg Pants (been pinning these like crazy over on Pinterest!).
  • Sandals once Spring arrives

Here are the links to all pieces shown in photos!
