Freeze your fruit for 2-3 hours, if not already frozen. To freeze the bananas, I recommend slicing first and putting them into a baggie or a container work too.
Add the frozen blueberries and bananas into the blender, along with some protein powder if your making it a high protein ice cream.
Blend on high until it reaches a smooth, creamy consistency. If you don't have a really good blender like the Vitamix, this process will take a little bit longer. Rest assured, it will still work, you just might need to stop to scrape down the sides a few times and keep blending. If it gets really stuck, try adding a tbsp of some plant based milk.
Serve immediately. Add toppings, if desired. Enjoy!
