These vegan banana pancakes are healthy, delicious, and require very minimal ingredients! Banana oat pancakes are such a great gluten-free alternative to regular pancakes. They are naturally sweetened by the banana and require no added sugar, unless are topping with maple syrup of course!
As far as equipment goes, all you need for these pancakes is a blender! If you are anything like me, then you love blender recipes! It’s hard not to love blender recipes because they are quick and require less clean up. No one wants to be stuck washing a pile of dirty dishes after enjoying a delicious breakfast!
How to make the Vegan Banana Pancakes
For this recipe, you will need:
- Banana
- Oats
- Almond Milk
- Baking Powder
- Vanilla Extract (optional)
- Cinnamon (optional
- Your favorite toppings!
Personally, I love the added flavor that the vanilla extract and cinnamon give these pancakes, you can totally do without them! The banana add enough sweetness and you can add toppings afterwards so it really doesn’t matter.
To make these pancakes, add all of you ingredients to a blender and blend together. I would suggest grinding the oats into a flour before adding the rest of the ingredients if you don’t have a high powered blender. Once the pancake batter is ready, cook pancakes in a non stick pan. You can add vegan butter or coconut oil if desired/needed. Cook until pancakes are golden brown on each side and the healthy vegan banana pancakes are done! I love topping my pancakes with maple syrup and fruit such as bananas & berries, but enjoy these with whatever toppings you’d prefer!
